Qatar Airways Frequent Flyer Programme partners with Qatar Museums for Culture Pass



DOHA, QATAR – Qatar Airways’ award-winning Frequent Flyer Programme, Privilege Club, partners with Qatar Museums’ Culture Pass, offering its valued Platinum and Gold tier members access to the rich benefits of the Culture Pass Plus programme.
Her Excellency Sheikha Al Mayassa bint Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani signed the partnership agreement with His Excellency Mr. Akbar Al Baker in a ceremony at Al Safwa First Class Lounge at Hamad International Airport.
Platinum tier members residing anywhere in the world and Gold tier members residing in Qatar can now enrol for Culture Pass Plus membership free of charge for a validity of 12 months. Culture Pass Plus benefits include free entry to Qatar’s award-winning museums, attractive discounts at Qatar Museums’ shops and many restaurants along with exclusive invitations to a host of tours, talks, and workshops.

The partnership with Qatar Airways as well as other local and regional partners will enable members a one card access to all the amenities this nation provides.”

To receive the complimentary Culture Pass Plus membership, Platinum and Gold Members in Qatar must register at ticket desks with a valid Privilege Club card and government issued ID at one of the following Qatar Museums: National Museum of Qatar, Museum of Islamic Art or Mathaf: Arab Museum of Modern Art.
Privilege Club launched in 2000 as a form of appreciation to Qatar Airways’ loyal passengers, offering them the opportunity to earn Qmiles when travelling on Qatar Airways, oneworld airlines, or any of the airlines’ partners. Qmiles has since served as another convenient means of payment at the award-winning Qatar Duty Free outlets, located in both the departure and arrival halls of Hamad International Airport, and at Oryx Galleria in Doha.
Privilege Club offers four membership tiers – Burgundy, Silver, Gold and Platinum - each with their own exclusive benefits for members to enjoy. Qmiles are earned when members travel on Qatar Airways, oneworld airlines, other airline partners or use the services of any of the airline’s 60+  global partners. Qmiles are awarded based on the booking class purchased, and can be redeemed for a range of exciting benefits and rewards including complimentary flights, upgrades or excess baggage awards on Qatar Airways.
Privilege Club members can also redeem their Qmiles for purchases made at Qatar Duty Free located at the state-of-the-art Hamad International Airport or Oryx Galleria, a boutique located in Doha, which has been designed exclusively with Privilege Club members in mind.
Qatar Airways currently operates a modern fleet of more than 250 aircraft via its hub, Hamad International Airport (HIA) to more than 160 destinations worldwide. HIA has recently been ranked as fourth best airport in the world at the Skytrax World Airport Awards 2019. Additionally, the airport has been ranked as a five-star Airport and was honoured with the title of ‘Best Airport in the Middle East’ for the fifth year in a row and ‘Best Staff Service in the Middle East’ for the fourth year in a row.
