Many people are still traveling and planning their family or solo vacays. Covesmart.com wanted to dig deeper into how people are preparing for their vacations and what they're worried about.
They over 990 people and found out that people are doing their research: nearly 1 in 3 people look up common scams before traveling.
Other key findings from the report:
- Travelers are most likely to have their valuables stolen from their luggage (46%), followed by a secret location (37%), then an on-location safe (34%)
- Yet people refuse to leave home without their wedding rings (78%), smartwatch (62%) and laptop (54%) when they go on vacation
- 1 in 4 travelers keep their cash and credit cards separate in case their cards or cash are stolen or pickpocketed
- More than 1 in 3 people told a friend their travel schedule while on their last vacation.
