Dual-branded Residence Inn and Fairfield by Marriott to open in San Jose, California

SAN JOSE, CA – Marriott International, Inc. announced that a LEED Certified, dual-branded 147-suite Residence Inn by Marriott hotel and 114-room Fairfield by Marriott hotel in San Jose, California is set to open today.
Located at 656 America Center Court, the Residence Inn and Fairfield Inn & Suites San Jose North/Silicon Valley hotels are owned by InfiniPower Hospitality Group of Mountain View, California and managed by Johnson Hospitality of Danville, California. General Manager Josh Howard and Director of Sales & Marketing Maria Larios lead the management team at the properties for Johnson Hospitality. Preferred equity for the construction of the hotels was provided by Canyon Partners Real Estate LLC.
The solar powered, energy efficient properties will share an outdoor swimming pool, a serene outdoor patio with built in BBQ’s and a fire pit, basketball court and putting green – all overlooking the peaceful water views of the San Francisco Bay. The property features a full-service bar centrally located in the lobby with light food options, two meeting rooms with a combined 1,125 square feet of functional meeting space to accommodate events for up to 72 people, and a well-equipped fitness center. The hotels offer a complimentary breakfast that offers a variety of great options, including specially made items from Indian and Asian cuisines. Guests can start their day off right with healthy food choices and can make sure they do not miss the most important meal of the day with convenient to-go offerings.
Located in the booming Silicon Valley, two miles from Levi’s Stadium, home of the San Francisco 49ers, seven miles from the Norman Y. Mineta San Jose International Airport and nine miles from downtown San Jose, the dual-branded property offers guests convenient access to the Santa Clara Convention Center and the San Jose McEnery Convention Center.

Designed for stays of five nights or more, each suite also has a fully equipped kitchen with a coffeemaker, microwave oven and residential-sized appliances. Other features include a state-of-the-art noiseless A/C system and on-demand hot water. Guests looking for a revitalizing sleep experience will enjoy the hotel’s plush mattresses and crisp linens, while guests focused on being productive will value their suite’s large, well-lit work desk, ergonomic chair and complimentary high-speed Internet access.
Extending the feeling of comfortable living on the road, the hotel offers guests inviting and functional public spaces to relax or collaborate.
