Social events at the TFWA World Exhibition & Conference 2019 to centre on Port Canto

The Opening Cocktail will take place at this new spacious venue, on Sunday 29th September from 7.30pm. For the first time, all TFWA World Exhibition & Conference and TFWA Innovation Lab visitor and exhibitor badge-holders will be permitted entry to the Opening Cocktail free of charge,
numbers permitting. Entry will require presentation of a personal guest e-invitation, which replaces the printed invitation and will be issued shortly before the event. These admit one person only, and will include a barcode which is unique and personal to each guest. Those planning to attend are encouraged to arrive in good time.
The ever-popular night spot The Scene will this year be found at the new location of Port Canto. Offering the Cote d’Azur’s coolest sounds and the chance to unwind while taking in the stunning views of the Cannes marina, The Scene is open each night from Monday 30th September to Thursday 3rd October. TFWA would like to thank all of this year’s sponsors of The Scene.
Le Premium Evening, the industry’s ultimate night out, will be held on Thursday 3rd October. All those having reserved Full Delegate packages are invited to Le Premium Evening and will be offered entry to The Scene on the same night.
Alain Maingreaud, TFWA President, said: "We are thrilled to announce a truly outstanding line-up of social events for this year’s TFWA World Exhibition & Conference. With the headline events being held at the new Port Canto venue, we hope to create a relaxed and stress-free environment for delegates to socialise and broaden their networks during the week."
The Opening Cocktail is now free of charge for visitor and exhibitor badge-holders, and we are expecting a high turnout for this top-flight travel retail diary date. As numbers will be limited by capacity, please arrive in plenty of time to avoid disappointment.”
A shuttle service will operate from all the major hotels. Full details on the social events can also be found in the official TFWA Diary and in the practical information section of the TFWA website.
