BCD Travel announces new SVPs for global distribution strategy and its corporate travel management consultancy Advito

UTRECHT – Leading global business travel management company BCD Travel announced the promotion of Thane Jackson to Senior Vice President of Global Distribution Strategy, and Lesley O'Bryan to Senior Vice President of Advito. Both assume their new roles effective immediately.

With over 20 years of experience at BCD, Jackson most recently served as Vice President of Global Distribution and Channel Strategy. In his new role, he’ll continue to lead the global team tasked with BCD’s short- and long-term distribution strategies, as well as the Supplier Relations team in U.K./Ireland. Jackson and his team are tasked with bringing clarity to the complexities of distribution, including IATA’s NDC and associated programs, new ways of booking ancillaries, relationships with GDS and online booking providers and emerging distribution channels. They maximize content quality and availability while also helping customers both understand current challenges in content distribution and mitigating the impact of those challenges.
“In his tenure with the company, Thane has served in a wide range of roles. He has become our foremost spokesperson and industry expert on NDC and related distribution topics. By sharing his knowledge and insight at industry events, customer forums, and prospect meetings, he’s a trusted adviser and partner for our clients in this constantly changing arena,” said Rose Stratford, Executive Vice President of Global Supplier Relations and Strategic Sourcing, to whom Jackson reports.
In her new role, Lesley O'Bryan, former Advito Vice President and Principal, takes over the day-to-day operation of Advito from April Bridgeman. Recently named BCD’s new senior vice president of hotels, Bridgeman will continue supporting Advito with strategic guidance, and O'Bryan will report directly to her. Since joining Advito in 2013, O'Bryan has built several practices from the ground up, including Traveler Engagement, which has seen double-digit growth since it started. She also has consistently led as the top volume sales leader for Advito.
“Lesley has been instrumental in Advito’s growth and understands what’s necessary to drive the business forward,” Bridgeman said. “Her commercial mindset, consulting background and passion for innovation will ensure Advito keeps creating new value in managed travel.”
